Job summary

Filtrex Service Group in the United States is seeking an HVAC/R Service Manager to lead our Service Department and drive nationwide preventive maintenance programs across equipment types.

You will manage goals, training, and standards; supervise Supervisors and Trainers; improve schedules; ensure OSHA compliance; and represent the company at conferences as needed; expect 50–60 hour weeks with evenings and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R service technician experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in ICE Machine and commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum two years of office and management experience.
• Strong leadership, verbal and written communication, and conflict management skills.
• Basic understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.
• Post-high school education from college, trade school, or the military.
• Willingness to work non-standard schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits:

Position Summary:

As the HVAC/R Service Manager, you'll oversee high-level operations within the Service Department, effectively carrying out the following tasks, duties, and responsibilities:

• Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and assignments.
• At least two years of HVAC/R service technician experience (preferred).
• Minimum two years of office and management experience.
• Strong leadership, verbal and written communication, and conflict management skills.
• Basic understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.
• Post-high school education from college, trade school, or the military.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and background.
• Flexibility to work non-standard schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Willingness to represent the company at conferences and industry trade shows, when necessary.

Location & Schedule:

This position operates from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with availability required for nights and weekends as needed. Projection of 50-60 hour weeks
