A respected multi-site senior living and healthcare organization is seeking a hospitality-driven National Director of Dining Services to lead and elevate the resident dining experience across a growing portfolio of communities throughout the United States.

This executive leadership role is ideal for a seasoned hospitality professional who combines operational excellence with a passion for service, guest experience, and team development. The organization is looking for a visible, hands‑on leader who can inspire culinary teams, strengthen hospitality culture, and create elevated dining experiences that enhance quality of life for residents.

Position Overview

The National Director of Dining Services will provide strategic and operational leadership across a large multi‑state portfolio of senior living and healthcare communities. This role partners closely with regional and operational leadership teams to improve dining satisfaction, strengthen service consistency, and support culinary excellence throughout the organization.

This position offers the opportunity to influence the overall hospitality experience at scale while building systems, coaching leaders, and driving operational performance across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and elevate the overall dining and hospitality experience across a multi-site portfolio
• Establish and reinforce hospitality and service standards organization-wide
• Partner with regional leaders and community teams to improve resident satisfaction and engagement
• Coach and mentor culinary leadership teams to strengthen execution and accountability
• Support operational consistency, food quality, and service excellence across locations
• Drive improvements related to efficiency, food cost management, and waste reduction
• Assist with implementation and optimization of dining technology platforms and operational systems
• Ensure compliance with operational and regulatory standards across varying care environments
• Serve as a highly visible field leader through regular travel and onsite engagement with teams

Qualifications

• Significant multi-site food & beverage or dining services leadership experience
• Proven ability to lead operations across multiple locations and regions
• Strong hospitality mindset with a focus on customer experience and relationship-building
• Experience developing service standards, operational systems, and team performance initiatives
• Financial and operational acumen including budgeting, purchasing, and cost management
• Comfortable leveraging dining systems, reporting tools, and operational technology platforms
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching capabilities
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to build credibility quickly in the field
• Culinary background or culinary leadership experience preferred

Travel & Location

This role supports communities across multiple states and involves a meaningful level of travel, particularly during the initial transition and relationship-building phase.
