Job summary

KBR is seeking a Network Analyst to support the National Security Solutions team in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on coordinating cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize complex telecom networks for national security missions.

Applicants must hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility and have 6+ years of relevant experience, including 3G/4G/5G, NFV/SDN, and GPON/fiber technologies. The position offers challenging work and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Clear TS/SCI with Polygraph eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in traditional and data-based telecom infrastructure planning and engineering.
• Ability to work across multiple packet fabrics including platforms like Google B4.
• Hands-on experience with 3G, 4G, and/or 5G technologies in core or radio networks.
• Familiarity with Network Management Systems (NMS), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), and Software Defined Networking (SDN).
• Knowledge of switches, routers, multiplexers, and both wireless and wireline transport systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across customer groups for network analysis.
• Evaluate network operations with internal and external partners.
• Demonstrate telecom expertise to support mission objectives.
• Support modeling with domain insights using mapping tools.
• Analyze wireless and wireline networks and protocols.
• Communicate findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Track emerging telecom technologies and stay current.
• Maintain technical currency through ongoing training.
