Job summary

Clarity Innovations is seeking a Data Scientist to join a close-knit training team supporting a U.S. Special Operations Command program at MacDill AFB.

You will gather and derive insights from complex data, assist development initiatives, and drive digital transformation that improves mission readiness. The role requires programming in Python or R, expertise in ML workflows, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is required.
• 1+ year hands-on Data Science experience is required.
• Proficiency in Python or R and SQL or related data tools.
• Secret Clearance required and ability to travel up to 25%.
• Knowledge of ML workflows and cloud data platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze data using statistical techniques and the scientific method.
• Coordinate research activities and clean, organize, and process data.
• Develop ML projects with cloud-native platforms and advanced solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to build data environments.
• Design algorithms and apply NLP, forecasting, clustering, and data visualization.
• Communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders through storytelling.
• Deliver technical training to personnel of varying technical levels.
