Job summary

Valid8 Financial, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Cold Storage Sales Manager to maintain existing AWIP cold storage customers and drive national growth across insulated panels and under floor insulation.

You will supervise Territory Managers and Independents, coach the team, and coordinate marketing and trade show activities. Expect to travel nationwide, deliver compelling product presentations to developers and engineers, and serve as the subject matter expert on AWIP products in the cold storage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent sale/industry experience.
• 5 years’ experience in promotion of construction or architectural product.
• Experience reading construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cold storage customer relationships and develop new cold storage customer relationships.

• Plan, prioritize and organize travel nationally to facilitate cold storage sales support and customer service.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations to developers, contractors, architects and engineers.
• Reading construction blue prints, drawings, plans and specifications and prepare estimates.
• Coordinate all cold storage tradeshow and industry meeting efforts.
• Be a subject matter expert on all products AWIP manufactures and distributes.

Job description

Responsible for maintainingexisting AWIP cold storage customers and growth of cold storage sales nationally - including insulated panels and under floor insulation.

Essential Functions

Monitor cold storage customer relationships and develop new cold storage customer relationships.

Supervise Territory Managers and/or Independent Representatives assigned to Cold Storage Sales.

Conduct reviews, coaching and sales planning with Cold Storage sales team.

Responsible for under floor foam sales and distribution efforts. Act asprimaryliaison between suppliers and AWIP sales, customerserviceand shipping departments.

Assistin organizing cold storage marketing:

Coordinate all cold storage tradeshowand industry meeting efforts.

Work with VP Sales and Marketing Manager to ensure the proper advertising and promotion of AWIP products in the cold storage industry.

Be a subject matter expert on all products that AWIP manufactures and distributes. Additionally, be an expert and go-to source for knowledge in the cold storage industry.

Maintain professionalism andexpertiseduring face-to-face visits, customer serviceeffortsand phone and e-mail conversations.

Visit customer job sites to support cold storage sales and customer service activities. Use discretion to coordinate with AWIP outside sales and/or AWIP field services as necessary to handle customer visits.

Prepare and deliver product presentations to developers, contractors,architectsand engineers.

Reading constructionblue prints, drawings, plans and specifications andprepareestimates.

Creating detailed jobsite visit reports including pictures, description of products being installed, job site environment andreportcurrent orpossible futureissues with the products.

Plan,prioritizeand organize travel nationally tofacilitatecold storage sales support and customer service.

Education: Minimum ofBachelor’s Degreeor equivalent sale/industry experience.

5 years’ experience in promotion of construction or architecturalproduct.

Professional and polished presentation skills.

Experience inreading construction drawings and specifications. Demonstrated aptitude will be considered in lieu of experience.

Computerproficiencyincluding Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Additional Qualifications

Mustpossesscredit worthiness and a major credit card with a sufficient limitin order tomaintainmonthly travel expenses until reimbursed by the company.

Electronic communication will take place on a company provided laptop via e-mail and other internet forms of communication.

Primary phone contact will be made bycompanyprovidedmobile phone.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise environments, chemicals used in the process, and extreme temperatures. The facility is an industrial manufacturing plant.
