This is a unique leadership opportunity within a successful investment company poised for growth. The National Sales Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and motivating wholesalers, managing their performance to meet sales targets, maintain activity levels, and stay within budget.
The role requires a driven, communicative leader with strong relationship-building skills who can work collaboratively across disciplines. As a hands-on coach and sales leader, you will contribute innovative ideas for business growth and support profitable initiatives. The role involves frequent travel with direct reports, key stakeholders, and industry events.
Working closely with the Head of Strategy and cross-functional teams, the National Sales Manager will develop and execute sales strategies to exceed goals, increase market share, and ensure profitable growth.
The ideal candidate will be outcome-oriented and focused on creating efficient processes for sales planning, operations, training, onboarding, and tracking. The role also entails cultivating a high-performance culture aligned with our core values of accountability, transparency, innovation, and grit.
The position offers a base salary of $150,000 plus variable compensation. Equitable provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), and paid time off. The role requires weekly travel or the ability to travel over 75% of the time with RVPs.
Qualifications include 7+ years of proven sales leadership experience, strong industry relationships, a self-motivated approach, and excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in growth-stage startups, familiarity with wealth management products, and knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce.
