  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales in the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry
  • Trade compliance experience
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts
  • Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software
Responsibilities
  • The National Sales Manager will be responsible for developing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry
  • This role requires a deep understanding of the freight forwarding market, including ocean freight, NVOCC, customs and import/export business
  • Experience in Ocean Freight/NVOCC/Freight Forwarding/Customs/Import and Export
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key accounts
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and customer service teams
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales plans
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Director of Sales
  • Knowledge of customs brokerage
