Johnson & Johnson is seeking a National Sales Director, OBL within Shockwave Medical. This is a remote role available across the Continental United States. Candidates from any location across the country are encouraged to apply.

Position Overview: The National Sales Director will lead a national sales team focused on office-based procedures, working closely with Marketing, R&D, and Area VP of Sales to identify market needs and execute product commercialization strategies.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Build and lead a team of field sales representatives to maximize revenue and achieve sales goals.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for office-based procedures across the U.S.
  3. Forecast sales revenue accurately on various timeframes.
  4. Create and execute effective sales plans and strategies.
  5. Provide coaching, support, and motivation to sales team members.
  6. Train sales representatives on deal structuring to exceed revenue expectations.
  7. Resolve team conflicts and serve as an escalation point for issues.
  8. Perform sales activities in assigned regions to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  9. Test and replicate successful sales strategies.
  10. Stay informed on new products and industry developments.
  11. Collaborate with Marketing on go-to-market strategies.
  12. Participate in meetings and reviews.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. BA/BS degree or relevant experience.
  2. Proven sales leadership in medical device or disposable device markets.
  3. 5+ years managing sales teams and exceeding quotas.
  4. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  5. Experience with innovative market products.
  6. Ability to travel over 50% if needed.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.

Additional Information:

  • Base salary: $225,000.
  • Eligible for sales incentive program and car allowance.
