Job Description

Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a National Sales Director, OBL within Shockwave Medical. This is a remote role available in all regions within the Continental United States. Candidates from any location across the country are encouraged to apply.

Position Overview

The National Sales Director will build and develop a national sales team to deliver best-in-class performance for revenue and growth for office-based procedures. Responsible for building and managing the sales force, generating revenue, and executing successful strategies. Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and Area VP of Sales to identify market needs and drive the commercialization of new products.

Essential Job Functions
  • Build and oversee a team of field sales representatives to maximize sales revenues and exceed goals.
  • Develop and implement office-based procedure strategies nationwide.
  • Accurately forecast sales revenue streams.
  • Develop effective sales plans and strategies.
  • Train and coach sales representatives to structure deals that exceed revenue expectations.
  • Serve as escalation point for team issues; resolve conflicts as necessary.
  • Perform sales activities in assigned regions to meet or exceed revenue objectives.
  • Test and replicate successful sales strategies.
  • Stay informed on new products and industry knowledge; disseminate to team.
  • Coordinate with Marketing on go-to-market strategies.
  • Participate in sales meetings and business reviews.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven success in medical device or disposable device markets.
  • 5+ years leading and managing sales teams, exceeding quotas.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and analyze sales pipelines and forecasts.
  • Willing and able to travel over 50% as needed.
Additional Information
  • Base salary: $225,000.
  • Eligible for sales incentive compensation and car allowance.
  • Eligible for various employee benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
