Job Description

Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a National Sales Director, OBL within Shockwave Medical. This is a remote role available across all regions within the Continental United States. Candidates from any location are encouraged to apply.

Position Overview

The National Sales Director will build and develop a national sales team to deliver performance for revenue and growth in office-based procedures. Responsible for managing the sales force and strategizing market needs and product commercialization.

Essential Job Functions
  • Build and lead a team of field sales representatives to maximize sales revenues and exceed goals
  • Develop and implement office-based procedure strategies nationwide
  • Forecast sales revenue accurately
  • Develop sales plans and strategies to ensure organizational growth
  • Coach and support sales representatives to meet and exceed sales objectives
  • Serve as escalation point for team issues and conflicts
  • Perform sales activities in assigned regions to meet revenue targets
  • Test and replicate successful sales strategies
  • Stay informed on new products and industry trends
  • Collaborate with Marketing on go-to-market strategies
  • Participate in meetings and reviews
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven sales leadership in medical device markets
  • 5+ years managing sales teams and exceeding quotas
  • Strong sales, recruiting, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and analyze sales pipelines and forecasts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel over 50%
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
