Baker Tilly is seeking a Federal Tax Partner to join our National Real Estate Practice. You will lead federal tax compliance and advisory services for real estate clients, working closely with firm leadership and a team of tax professionals to deliver value and growth.

The role requires a seasoned partner with a strong book of business, extensive real estate tax expertise, and the ability to mentor staff while expanding client relationships nationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree desirable.
• CPA or JD required or Enrolled Agent.
• 15+ years’ experience with federal tax in real estate.
• Proven success in building a book of business.
• 5+ years of supervisory/mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead federal tax compliance and consulting for construction and real estate clients.
• Manage client relationships at middle market to multinational level.
• Oversee tax planning and research on varied tax issues.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex matters.
• Drive growth through proposals, leadership and client development.
