Job summary

TEi Construction Services (TEiC) seeks a seasoned Quality Director to lead the quality organization, drive continuous improvement, and ensure excellence across nationwide power generation and industrial projects. This high-impact role oversees quality programs, field teams, and compliance with ASME, NBIC, and customer requirements.

You will mentor site Quality Managers, align corporate programs, and collaborate with customers, inspectors, and project teams to resolve complex quality challenges.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in quality, welding inspection or QC in power or industrial construction.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent.
• ASME Section I, NBIC and related codes knowledge.
• Experience with boilers, HRSGs, pressure parts, outages/construction.
• Proven leadership of quality teams across multiple project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Construction Site Quality Managers on active projects.
• Oversee corporate ASME, NBIC, and AISC quality programs.
• Drive quality performance, audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with customer specs, regulatory requirements and industry codes.
• Support welding, NDE, inspection, and quality documentation activities.
• Build and develop high-performing quality teams across the organization.
• Partner with customers, suppliers, Authorized Inspectors, and project teams to resolve complex quality challenges.
