National Program Manager

Full-time, virtual, or office-based in the United States

As a National Program Manager you are responsible for managing all aspects of program management for our clients Mercedes-Benz Cars and Daimler Truck (50/50 assignment) to include but not limited to client retention, contract negotiation, implementation and business consolidation, sales of products and services, financials, business planning and reviews, establishing relationships with key decision makers in the US and Canada, tight collaboration with operations and business continuance. You have direct accountability to BCD Travel or externally to the customer for the success of the contract or travel program across US and Canada.

As a National Program Manager, you will

  • Ensure 100% client retention and account profitability in cooperation with Global Program Manager (GPM)
  • Increase revenues by means of Up-Selling and Cross-Selling through consultative approach, ensuring solution meet customer's needs
  • Manage to all local contractual matters (as part of the superseding global contract framework)
  • Act as conduit and trusted advisor, share best practice and industry updates
  • Coordinate all central communication across US//CA both BCD Travel and client's regional initiatives or interests in cooperation with clients business partners/program stakeholders
  • Ensure timely settlement of customer P&Ls where required and necessary as per contractual obligation
  • Develop and execute local business plans, implement key deliverables and measure results
  • Develop, measure and report on Service Level Agreements and Key Performance indicators
  • Create and manage business improvement plans
  • Manage new business implementations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients at a national level (US/CA)
  • Create and manage to budgets and financials (includes billing, payment & profitability)
  • Support operational and regional reporting requirements

About you

  • Extensive experience in account management corporate travel or related industry
  • Experience and openness in implementing and managing global clients headquartered in Europe
  • Thorough knowledge of travel industry technology and corporate travel operations
  • Knowledge of contract management and internal financial processes at BCD Travel
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Ability to cross-sell company services and products and sell preferred vendors
  • Ability to interact with all levels of clientele and influence decision makers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentations in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of National Program Manager is between $74,000 and $84,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
