National Pipeline Practice Leader

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized leader in engineering and architecture consulting, is seeking a highly motivated National Pipeline Practice Leader. With over a century of engineering excellence and a commitment to solving our clients' most complex challenges, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our expanding water/wastewater services team.

This role will offer expert technical support and problem‑solving services to our clients, addressing challenges in water/wastewater pipeline collection and conveyance while driving the development of innovative and advanced solutions through emerging technologies and dedicated research efforts.

Preferred locations are Arlington or Dallas, TX, but other Texas locations are welcome. Occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical expert in pipeline design
• Lead, coach, mentor, and provide guidance to junior staff
• Create/identify opportunities to work with other departments/business units within the company
• Lead identification and sharing of foresight, innovation, and technology trends for our One Water group
• Maintain presence both within Mead & Hunt and in the pipeline engineering community
• Make recommendations to management regarding technical training needs
• Monitor industry trends
• Coordinate QA/QC for projects
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience
• PE license in any state
