Job summary

Sharsheret seeks a Part-Time National Outreach Associate to expand engagement and coordinate educational programming in a hybrid Teaneck, NJ office. The role involves cultivating partnerships with medical and Jewish communal services, schools, and campuses, and supporting volunteers and donors.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of nonprofit or Jewish organizational experience, strong writing and public speaking skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a non-profit or Jewish organization, volunteer or related experience and advanced degree preferred.
• Passion for cancer and Jewish communal service.
• Outstanding program/event organizer.
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, communication, public speaking and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Occasional evening availability.

Responsibilities

• Grow Sharsheret’s presence in the region by cultivating partnerships and facilitating programming with professionals, schools, campuses and related organizations.
• Cultivate volunteers and donors to build programming and capacity.
• Represent Sharsheret at events and local conferences.
• Coordinate program-related projects and mailings.
• Program data entry and other administrative tasks.
