Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a National OTR - Tractor Trailer Driver to securely transport valuable goods between customer locations. You will operate complex equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain control of GardaWorld’s fleet during transit.

The role requires readiness to spend multiple nights on the road and to work extra hours as business demands. Responsibilities include safe loading/unloading, thorough vehicle inspections, and reporting daily activities to leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of Tractor Trailer / OTR driving experience.
• Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 120 days of hire.
• Meet all DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
• No more than two moving violations in the last three years; no major violations in the last three years.
• No DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol/drugs convictions within the last ten years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, security, and control of the tractor trailer at all times.
• Ensure safe loading and offloading of the tractor trailer.
• Complete driving documentation and report vehicle issues to leadership.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the vehicle.
• Comply with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety guidelines.
• Willing to spend multiple nights on the road and work extra hours as needed.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections per company and DOT standards.
