Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a National OTR - Tractor Trailer Driver to safely transport valuable goods between customer locations. You will operate the tractor-trailer, ensure secure loading, and follow DOT regulations at all times.

The role requires long periods on the road, flexibility for extra hours, and adherence to safety protocols while delivering efficiency and security for GardaWorld's assets and clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Interstate (Class A) CDL with Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 120 days of hire.
• Meet all DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
• Able to lift 50lbs+ and handle heavy items over long distances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, security, and control of the tractor trailer at all times.
• Ensure safe loading and offloading of the tractor trailer.
• Report vehicle issues and daily activities to leadership; complete driving documentation.
• Keep vehicle clean and ready for operation; comply with DOT regulations and safety guidelines.
• Operate equipment safely, including cab computers, CB radios, GPS; follow safety programs.
• Spend multiple nights on the road; work extra hours and some Saturdays as needed.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections per company and DOT standards.
