Job summary

Toll Brothers, America's Leading Luxury Home Builder, seeks a National Options Manager for its Fort Washington, PA headquarters. The role manages option creation and setup across the company, applying national guidance to ensure consistent, enterprise-wide data and decisions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in residential purchasing or design studio operations, with strong cross-functional collaboration and knowledge of EnterpriseOne applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years experience in Residential Purchasing or Design Studio related business.
  • Functional working knowledge of EnterpriseOne (E1) purchasing applications.
  • Solid understanding of home building process and components.
  • Proficient understanding of architectural plans.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
  • In-office 3 days per week; variations by Division/Department.
  • Familiarity with national home building programs (e.g., plumbing, appliances, flooring).
  • Knowledge of EnterpriseOne HBSS is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Implement national option and item strategies to support the Sales Center and Design Studio selection process.
  • Create and maintain National Option Master covering options across Toll Divisions.
  • Review and adjudicate new option requests ensuring alignment with national program guidance.
  • Communicate new option information to Division Options Managers and other functions.
  • Ensure compliance and address discrepancies; document option guidance for end users.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Brand & Creative, National Sales, and National Design Studio on option specifications.
  • Participate in plan design and 90% construction drawing reviews to ensure correct naming and numbering.
  • Know systems setup related to options and items for company use.
  • Contribute to option class code strategy and changes as needed.
  • Identify training opportunities for Options Managers to expand knowledge.
  • Join monthly Options Managers calls to share national initiatives.

What is the opportunity?

The National Options Manager is responsible for option creation and setup across the company. This role requires knowledge of cross-functional business processes and systems to ensure compliance with national guidance, including product usage, option intent and architectural plans. This role applies national guidance to facilitate consistent, enterprise-wide option usage, maximizing the potential for enterprise-wide data to make informed decisions on product and option offering. This individual applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to achieve business objectives and efficiencies

What are the role’s primary responsibilities?

  • Implement national option and item strategies to facilitate the Sales Center and Design Studioselection process
  • Create and maintain National Option Master to include all options available in any Toll Division, including options necessary to facilitate transition to itemization
  • Review and adjudicate all new option requests, acknowledging Division requirements and ensuring the request conforms to national program guidance
  • Communicate new option information to Division Options Managers and other functional areas as needed
  • Foster national program compliance, identifying and addressing discrepancies as needed
    • Document option and item guidance to facilitate end user understanding of option intent and decisions on options and item permissibility
    • Partner with Marketing Brand & Creative, National Sales, and National Design Studio teams to create option specification language
  • Participate in plan design and 90% construction drawing plan review meetings to ensure adherence to room naming, option numbering, and option naming
  • Knowledge of systems setup, focusing on the options and items components necessary for successful system use by the company
  • Knowledge of option and item class code strategy, collaborating on changes as needed
  • Identify training opportunities for Options Managers to expand purchasing and system knowledge and encourage consistent system use
  • Participate in a monthly Options Managers call to inform Division teams on national option initiatives and encourage cross Division collaboration and support
  • Assist end users with EnterpriseOne related functionality questions

    • Working knowledge of EnterpriseOne (E1) Homebuilder Sales Solution (HBSS)
