What You’ll Do:

As a National Leasing Specialist – Scattered Site, you’ll impact the success of the Peak Property Group portfolio, assisting with day-to-day sales efforts of the onsite teams located in Columbus & Cincinnati. You will be responsible for providing support in the areas of leasing production and marketing, including leasing technology oversight and sales process management.

What You’ll Do:

As a National Leasing Specialist – Scattered Site, you’ll impact the success of the Peak Property Group portfolio, assisting with day-to-day sales efforts of the onsite teams located in Columbus & Cincinnati. You will be responsible for providing support in the areas of leasing production and marketing, including leasing technology oversight and sales process management.

Where You'll Work:

You will work at our Peak Property Group office here in the Columbus, OH area. You must have the ability to travel at least 2-3 weeks per quarter to our office in Cincinnati to help support leasing efforts for our Cincinnati off-campus student living, and conventional multi-family portfolio.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of the leasing process, including ensuring all leads are properly entered into Appfolio, contacted, and followed up on. Provide tours at scattered site locations, closing the sale, and assisting prospects through the application and lease process. Preparation and execution of the lease agreement and all screening procedures as well as monitoring and participating in the resident renewal process.
  • Support the administration of leasing & resident AI tools and reputation management systems. Create best practices for leasing workflow in collaboration with technology tools.
  • Drive individual and group leasing targets for the success of the community, proactively collaborating with the Property Manager and National Sales Manager for outreach, incentives, or sales coaching needed to achieve goals.
  • Deep dive to strengthen both individual and team knowledge of the competitive landscape in the market through shopping competitors and keeping updated records of all offerings within the market.
  • Establish an in-depth understanding of portfolio listings; establish a knowledge base and selling points.
  • Act as a full-time member of the on-site office team, providing support and assistance to all customer service efforts at the community, including dealing with escalated resident complaints as needed.
  • Drive both prospect interest and resident retention through coordinating and participating in a variety of site marketing efforts and events.
  • Guide the leasing team in their leasing and marketing efforts, ensuring proper expectations are set and tools and resources needed for success are given.
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting requirements for community team as needed.
  • Work primarily from the Columbus Peak Property Group office; participate in tour rotation to local properties as needed. Connect virtually with the Cincinnati office daily, visiting in person approximately 1 to 2 times per quarter.
  • Other tasks as directed and assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5+ years Leasing Manager or Assistant Property Manager required.
  • Previous experience leasing at multiple properties and multiple markets preferred.
  • Previous experience in both luxury conventional housing and student housing preferred.
  • Experience with AppFolio preferred.
