Job summary

Under the supervision of the Media Relations Manager, you will implement initiatives to raise the university's national profile and promote achievements of students, faculty, and staff. You will train staff and participate in after-hours on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Preferred: experience in a higher education setting.

Responsibilities

• Implement internal and external communications initiatives.
• Raise the university's national profile through targeted media relations.
• Track and report outreach success using PR tools and analytics.
• Lead OHIO's Calendar of University Events and train staff on Localist.
• Participate in after-hours on-call media assistance.
