LMOceans is seeking a Country Manager - Marine Surveyor to lead Hull & Machinery and P&I surveying operations across the United States from our US office. The role combines hands-on surveying with national strategic responsibility, mentoring surveyors, maintaining quality standards and building relationships with underwriters, clubs, brokers and vessel owners.

You will oversee field assignments, allocate surveyors, review technical reports, and drive business development, aiming to grow the H&M

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Hull & Machinery and/or P&I surveying.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with underwriters, clubs, brokers and vessel owners.

Aufgaben

• Oversee H&M and P&I surveying activities across multiple US regions, ensuring consistent technical standards and quality of service.
• Undertake field assignments, including vessel damage surveys, condition and valuation surveys, P&I attendances and casualty investigations.
• Coordinate surveyor allocation and scheduling to ensure appropriate technical expertise is assigned to each case.
• Review technical reports for accuracy, consistency and compliance with company standards.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and training to surveyors, supporting continued professional development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with marine underwriters, P&I clubs, brokers, vessel owners and operators.
• Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities to expand the company's H&M surveying portfolio.
• Contribute to recruitment, resource planning and the development of standard procedures, reporting templates and best practices.
