National Gender Equality Trainer & Policy Consultant

Job summary

UN Women Georgia is seeking a national consultant/trainer to develop and adapt gender equality training modules and conduct trainings across Georgia, including online delivery. The role includes creating training materials, agendas, assessments and reports, and coordinating with UN Women staff for tailored sessions.

The consultant will travel to regions of Georgia up to 20 trips, deliver ToTs, and produce knowledge products to inform national policies.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in gender equality and women’s rights.
• Experience delivering trainings to government officials, civil society, private sector companies or grassroots’ communities.
• Proven experience in developing training manuals, modules and programmes; knowledge of interactive learning methods and adult-learning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Learn or adapt UN Women training modules on gender equality and women’s empowerment.
• Design new or adapted training modules in consultation with UN Women staff.
• Conduct trainings for diverse stakeholder groups in Georgia (in-person and online).
• Lead awareness-raising activities on gender equality across regions and audiences.
• Conduct ToTs for different stakeholders on gender equality.
• Develop a detailed work plan and training needs assessments.
• Create detailed agendas, modules, presentations and training materials.
• Design pre- and post-training assessments and analyze results.
• Draft final training reports with recommendations for follow-up actions.
• Review policies and programs to identify gaps and inform policy and programming.
• Produce knowledge products with actionable guidance for strengthening national policies.
