Madden Industrial Craftsmen Inc. seeks an experienced Installation Lead to direct field installation of industrial paint booths across the United States. The role requires 70–90% nationwide travel and projects lasting 2–6 weeks with an East Coast home base preferred.

The position involves coordinating daily activities, ensuring safety and quality, and serving as the on-site representative for customers. Typical shifts vary by project and may include 12‑hour days.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field installation, construction, mechanical assembly or similar crews.
• Strong hands-on construction and mechanical installation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts and mechanical details.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve field issues as they arise.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and field safety practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to represent the company professionally.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with off-site project leadership.
• Willingness to travel 70–90% across the United States.
• Flexible schedules, including 12‑hour days during active installations.

Responsabilités

• Lead field installation crews at customer sites throughout the United States.
• Install industrial paint booths and related mechanical systems per drawings, specs and standards.
• Plan, organize and coordinate daily field activities to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Coordinate with project leadership on scope, scheduling, staffing and field conditions.
• Direct crew activities and maintain productivity, quality and safety at the site.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts and installation documentation.
• Troubleshoot field conditions and site issues as they arise.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production and leadership to resolve issues.
• Verify installations meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain a safe job site and enforce OSHA requirements and safety policies.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure PPE use and safe practices.
• Identify and address hazards and report incidents promptly.
• Serve as primary on-site point of contact for customers.
• Communicate progress, schedule, scope and delays clearly to stakeholders.
• Coordinate lodging and field logistics for extended projects.
