Purpose

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive paralegal to support our National Eviction Program. This role serves as a critical liaison between our clients and local counsel, ensuring seamless communication, efficient case management of both post-foreclosure and landlord-tenant evictions, and exceptional client service.

Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities :

  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and local counsel, relaying communications and ensuring prompt follow-ups.
  • Urgently address client and local counsel needs, providing timely responses and resolutions.
  • Manage case reporting and track eviction referrals from initiation to resolution.
  • Monitor and manage local counsel performance, ensuring adherence to client expectations and firm standards.
  • Attend client meetings, provide case updates, and maintain clear and professional communication.
  • Utilize firm's proprietary software to track and manage cases.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly client update reports.

Job Requirements :

  • High school diploma.
  • Legal experience preferred, but not required.
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in eviction, real estate, or litigation law is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the eviction process is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
