Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in event management, program management or nonprofit fundraising events.
• 3+ years leading teams.
• Strong relationships with American Muslim communities, mosques and community organizations.
• Budget ownership and vendor contract negotiation experience.
• Experience with gala dinners, live entertainment or touring programs.
• Familiarity with event ticketing, CRM and volunteer management platforms.

Aufgaben

• Build and manage the national events calendar across all program types.
• Set goals for every event: attendance, fundraising, budget and cost per attendee.
• Negotiate and manage venue, catering, talent and vendor contracts.
• Own attendance and lead campaigns with marketing for each event.
• Engage mosques, imams, MSAs and community organizations for promotion.
• Recruit, train, schedule and recognize volunteers; develop locality leads.
• Oversee day-of operations and assign staff from across divisions.
• Coordinate with fundraising staff on pledge collection and donor follow-up.
• Manage logistics for talent, including travel and hospitality.
• Run post-event reviews and maintain performance dashboards.
• Grow donor networks and track growth over time.
