Job summary

Wealthspire Institutional seeks a Defined Contribution Leader to guide the national DC administration practice. This role provides strategic direction, operational management, talent development, and financial accountability for all DC plan administration across the firm.

You will unify DC services into a consistent national delivery model, lead dispersed teams, and partner with Platform Operations and other leaders to advance growth, technology, and service excellence for retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in managing retirement plans.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing managers and professional service teams.
• Deep expertise in qualified defined contribution plans (401(k), profit sharing, safe harbor, cash balance).
• Strong understanding of ERISA, IRC qualification requirements, compliance testing, plan operations, and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Experience leading operational transformation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct the national Defined Contribution practice and develop a consistent operating model across all offices.
• Drive adoption of service delivery standards, improve quality, scalability, profitability, and client happiness.
• Lead teams of managers, administrators, and specialists across geographies.
• Monitor service quality, timelines, compliance, and client experience metrics.
• Partner with Platform Operations, Finance, and senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning.
