Job summary

GDIT seeks a National Cyber Communications Specialist in the Washington, DC area with Interim Top Secret clearance and Top Secret/SCI eligibility. You will craft alerts, advisories, leadership notices, and threat updates for federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and private sector audiences under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience producing technical communications for cybersecurity or national security audiences.
• Ability to produce accurate written products at volume and under deadline.
• Ability to translate raw technical analysis for audiences with varying technical depth.
• Experience managing review, coordination, and release processes for published products.
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements for government-facing products.
• Strong editorial judgment and command of plain-language writing standards.
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Produce alert and advisory content for cyber command center audiences.
• Prepare leadership notices and crisis communications for decision-making.
• Maintain accuracy, clarity, and plain language across government-facing materials.
• Coordinate with watch-floor, intelligence, hunt, and incident staff to source content.
• Support outreach, community briefings, and threat-update engagements.
