This position has been segmented as "Remote Anywhere," meaning the work is completed 100% remotely anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii or U.S. Territories.

The National Credit Coordinator provides credit and collections support for national customers. Responsibilities include customer setup, credit approval based on approval matrix, monitoring customer terms and compliance, and collecting on delinquent accounts. The role also involves negotiating payment arrangements, collaborating with national account sellers on financial issues, supporting third-party collections, and exercising judgment using existing systems and procedures.

Our National Credit Coordinators can start between $24-$25/hour depending on experience and location.

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8 am - 5 pm

Main Responsibilities

  1. Make credit decisions and establish payment terms within authority, monitor and maintain portfolio accuracy.
  2. Manage customer account applications/setups ensuring proper ownership linkage for aggregation.
  3. Obtain documentation, analyze, and approve credit terms for new accounts per Credit Policy.
  4. Set up customer accounts and secure credit approvals.
  5. Gather financial data for risk analysis and credit limit development.
  6. Identify root causes of delinquency, communicate with stakeholders for resolution.
  7. Manage accounts receivable for compliance, resolve issues timely.
  8. Create payment plans and follow protocols for collections.
  9. Prepare credit reviews and recommend credit limits.
  10. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley.
  11. Follow collection guidelines for GPO-related accounts.
  12. Recommend uncollectible accounts for write-off, assist with credit reporting.
  13. Participate in projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or CBA certification preferred.

Experience: 2+ years in credit/collections or related financial roles; experience with D&B and financial risk tools; food service experience is a plus.

Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas), effective communication, multitasking, independent work, risk assessment, problem-solving, collaboration, attention to detail.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform data entry and sustain focus for 8 hours daily.

Compensation ranges from $21 to $30/hour, based on experience and location.
