Job summary

ECS Corporate Services, LLC is seeking a National and Regional Account Manager in the Houston area to lead national and regional client relationships within the civil engineering sector. You will drive account growth, coordinate across departments, and deliver consistent service and project outcomes.

The role requires a strong track record in sales, marketing, and project capture, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives across a broad client base.

Qualifications

  • BS degree or higher in a field related to our service lines.
  • 10+ years of experience in a related field.
  • 15 years related experience may be considered in-lieu of degree.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and successfully meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and relationship building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
  • Proven track record of servicing clients with a high level of satisfaction.
  • Strong commitment to team-building.
  • Strong knowledge of our service lines and client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the service of a portfolio of National Accounts.
  • Builds, maintains, and strengthens client relationships.
  • Utilizes networking and contacts to network with potential clients and develop intelligence regarding competition.
  • Collaborates with leadership and other departments to coordinate client and project pursuits.
  • Interacts with clients on a regular basis.
  • Ensures consistency and accuracy of customer account deliverables.
  • Keeps current with knowledge and trends of clients' industries and maintains strong relationships.
  • Establishes clear timelines to meet client requirements and anticipates obstacles.
  • Identifies business initiatives and improvements.
  • Produces and proofreads statements of qualifications and proposals.
  • Communicates with clients during the pre-project/proposal phase to generate business.
  • Maintains and updates the client database for regional and national accounts to develop leads.
  • Maintains and tracks active projects for national clients.
  • Collaborates on marketing/business development plans and budgets for national accounts.
  • Maintains contact with multiple offices to support marketing strategy for growth.
  • Partners with Account Managers to nurture client relationships and achieve sales objectives.
  • Provides research and data consolidation for internal reports and trend reporting.
  • Creates work plans and meets project deadlines.
  • Note: role may require occasional out of office visits to other ECS facilities.

Position & Office Overview

As a National and Regional Account Manager, you have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to hold strong relationships with your clients. You have extensive experience within the civil engineering industry including project management, marketing and sales, project capturing, as well as other market sectors. You have an entrepreneurial drive for results as well as a proven ability to attain goals. You bring your skills and experience to the table when ensuring that clients both at the national as well as regional level are receiving quality services. You aim to please and are successful in holding strong relationships with each of your clients. Responsibilities
  • Manages the service of a portfolio of National Accounts.
  • Builds, maintains, and strengthens client relationships.
  • Utilizes networking and contacts in appropriate professional organizations to network with potential clients and to develop intelligence regarding firm's competition.
  • Collaborates with the National Practice Leader, Account Managers, Executives and other departments to coordinate client and project pursuits and new business opportunities with potential pursuits.
  • Interacts with clients on a regular basis.
  • Ensures consistency and accuracy of customer account deliverables.
  • Keeps current with knowledge and trends of clients' industries and creates and sustains strong relationships within these industries.
  • Establishes clear timelines to meet client requirements and anticipates obstacles and provides solutions.
  • Identifies business initiatives and improvements.
  • Produces and proofreads statements of qualifications and proposals.
  • Communicates with clients during the pre-project/proposal phase with a focus on generating business.
  • Compiles and provides information in the client database and maintains accurate and complete customer account information.
  • Maintains and updates the client database for regional and national accounts to develop leads and target marketing.
  • Maintains and tracks an active list of all projects being executed for specified national clients.
  • Collaborates in the creation of marketing/business development plans and budgets specific to national accounts.
  • Maintains consistent interaction with multiple offices including principals, directors, managers, and others to effectively support the marketing strategy for the growth of national accounts.
  • Partners with Account Managers and Executives in maintaining and nurturing client relationships, managing customer accounts, and achieving sales objectives.
  • Provides research, data consolidation, and recommendation development used to create internal reports, process documents, and/or industry trend reporting.
  • Creates work plans and meets project deadlines
  • Note: this role may require occasional out of office visits to other ECS facilities throughout the region.
