Job summary

Apollo Tires (US) Inc. is seeking a senior sales operations leader to strengthen and optimize the North American distribution network.

You will enable the sales organisation with tools, insights and programs to drive performance, while building strong distributor and dealer relationships across the region. Reporting to the National Sales Head, this role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, focusing on network expansion, program design, and cross‑functional collaboration with Sales,

Qualifications

This is an exciting opportunity to join Apollo Tires (US) Inc., a global tyre manufacturer known for delivering innovative products, strong customer partnerships, and sustainable growth across international markets. Reporting to the National Sales Head, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening and optimizing Apollo's distribution network across North America while enabling the sales organisation with the tools, insights, and programs needed to drive performance.

This is a highly commercial and collaborative role for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, building strong distributor and dealer relationships, and influencing business growth through data-driven decision‑making.

What Your Responsibilities Are
  • Conduct market mapping exercises to identify dealer, distributor, and channel expansion opportunities across North America.
  • Support the onboarding and integration of new distribution partners selected by Sales Leadership.
  • Strengthen existing distributor and dealer relationships through targeted programs, incentives, and commercial initiatives.
  • Improve dealer activation, sell‑out execution, inventory performance, and overall network productivity.
  • Identify opportunities to increase market coverage and enhance channel effectiveness.
  • Develop sales tools, presentations, and commercial materials to support the sales organisation.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to create compelling sales pitches, channel messaging, and point‑of‑sale (POS) requirements.
  • Ensure distributors and dealers receive timely product information, sales materials, and activation support.
  • Oversee the deployment of POS assets to maintain a consistent and impactful brand presence.
  • Support dealer development initiatives and field activities to improve customer engagement and sales performance.
  • Gather feedback from the field to support continuous improvement in marketing campaigns, product positioning, and distribution programs.
Performance Management & Business Insights
  • Monitor sales force and dealer performance across key metrics, including sell‑in, sell‑out, inventory health, market coverage, and secondary sales.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track business performance and network productivity.
  • Analyse sales and channel data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Provide recommendations and actionable insights to Sales Leadership.
  • Identify underperforming regions, channels, or partners and support corrective action plans.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support alignment between commercial teams and distribution partners to improve execution and engagement.
  • Coordinate product launches, promotional activities, and channel programs.
  • Facilitate regular business reviews with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Partner with Zone Managers and National Account teams to drive dealer development and network performance initiatives.
What Success Looks Like

In this role, success will be measured by your ability to:

  • Deliver approximately $4.5M in annual revenue and achieve sustainable year‑on‑year territory growth.
  • Meet annual PC and CV unit sales targets and contribute to market share growth.
  • Expand the distribution network through 8–10 new points of sale, new direct accounts, fleet customers and Specialist Dealers.
  • Reactivate dormant accounts and create new revenue opportunities across the territory.
  • Grow Hitrac, Hypertrac and Endutrax to approximately 25% of the overall sales mix.
  • Build a healthy, sustainable customer portfolio by driving retention, repeat business and account growth.
What You Bring
Experience
  • 10-15 years of experience in sales operations, sales force management, distribution management, or channel development within North America.
  • Strong understanding of dealer and distributor networks, channel economics, and incentive programs.
  • Proven experience supporting sales organisations through commercial programs, tools, and performance management.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with sales and marketing teams to drive growth initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse business data and translate insights into action plans.
