Job Description

  • Acquire nationwide clients seeking organic waste solutions / strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive renewable energy, waste and recycling programs with nationwide companies.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
  • In person client meetings, and long term relationship building.
  • Provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication with the marketing department.
  • Work closely with the management team to create strategic plans to enhance client services and boost sales.
  • Coordinate with the finance team on contract negotiations.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs.
  • Work in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'National Business Development Manager' should have:

  • Proven sales experience in the waste, recycling or renewable energy environment.
  • Hunter who is not afraid to net new business via cold acquisition, referrals, or other creative avenues.
  • Experience selling to large food and bev manufacturers, restaurant chains or other relevant fields.
  • A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • A proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
  • Strong business acumen and good technical knowledge waste programs.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
