Job Description

National Business Development Manager – (Avendra Clubs)

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and executing sales initiatives for private country clubs and golf management companies within Avendra Clubs. Reporting to the Director of National Sales in Avendra Clubs, this role is accountable for achieving sales targets, managing a robust pipeline, and representing the brand to prospective and strategic partners/clients. The ideal candidate combines a passion for golf with a strong sales acumen, hospitality mindset, and the ability to build long-term relationships with reputable clubs and management companies in the industry.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive new sales by actively sourcing, qualifying and closing new individual, corporate and golf groups in alignment with national strategies
  • Initiate and manage an active sales pipeline, from lead generation through contract signing, using CRM tools to track activities and maintain data integrity
  • Develop and execute local outreach plans, including networking events, partnerships with groups and golf professionals, and regional engagement
  • Collaborate with other sales teams to implement consistent and proven strategies that provide results
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement campaigns, events, and referral programs
  • Provide regular reporting to the Director of National Sales on performance metrics, market trends, and opportunities to refine strategies
  • Represent Avendra Clubs at local, regional and national events, promoting the brand and cultivating new business relationships
  • Manage and champion sales-related golf activities successfully in Salesforce platform

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Partner with account management team(s) to ensure smooth onboarding and transition occurs quickly and efficiently for new clients
  • Assist in the development and refinement of sales scripts, promotions, and messaging to reflect core market dynamics
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge regarding club offerings, amenities, programming, and differentiators
  • When necessary, act as a liaison between national sales and club operations to ensure alignment of business priorities
  • Build and continuously improved sales strategies for maximum sales conversion, high client retention efforts: revenue goals, competitive position, client relations and actions to ensure retention of client accounts

Work Environment. This job operates in an office/remote setting location. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Physical Demands. This is largely a sedentary role with some light lifting of files possibly needed.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in private clubs, hospitality, or golf related industry environments
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goals in a relationship-driven, consultative sales environment
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport with affluent prospects and iconic golf leaders
  • Experience with Salesforce and understanding of lead tracking and conversion metrics
  • High level of professionalism, organization, and self-motivation
  • Willingness to work above and beyond to create a spectacular reputation and results
  • Regional travel as required; up to 40%

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate or salary range for this position is $105,000-$125,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
