Job Description

Required License: Active and unrestricted Life and Health Insurance License

Job Summary

Telesales role. Responsible for taking and making telephone calls with prospective members to educate them on Molina products and conduct enrollment into the product of choice over the phone or other sales channels.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other government health and income assistance programs.
  • Experience working with senior citizens and low-income individuals. Experience in Telesales environment.
  • Understanding of CMS telephone marketing regulations.
  • Ability to take inbound and make outbound calls to prospective members.
  • Strong telephone sales skills.
  • Conduct presentations using approved guidelines, needs analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Assist with enrollment into desired products after the sales cycle.
  • Arrange in-person meetings and manage RSVPs for events for prospective members who prefer not to enroll over the phone.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals.

Job Qualifications

Required Education: HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

Required Experience: 1-3 years

Required License, Certification, Association: Active and unrestricted Life and Health Insurance License

Preferred Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent

Preferred Experience: 3-5 years
