Job summary

Langan is seeking a Civil Engineering Practice Lead for its growing national aviation practice. This role leads the expansion of the practice's market reach, delivering technical expertise across landside and airside civil engineering for major airport projects in the United States.

You will mentor staff, drive business development, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve strategic growth while ensuring high-quality designs and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years of progressive civil engineering experience in aviation.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in at least one US state with ability to obtain in multiple states.
• Experience leading aviation civil engineering projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continue development of a progressive national aviation practice.
• Build, maintain, and manage client relationships to secure aviation projects nationwide.
• Provide technical lead for civil designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landside/airside works.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to design staff.
• Assist with talent acquisition to grow the aviation practice.
• Develop and implement business development strategies for airport projects.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to cross-sell aviation services.
