Role Overview

We are looking for a Manager to join our National Practice Assurance Methodology team. This role involves developing and training on assurance firm methodology, policies, and procedures. You will work closely with the Assurance Methodology Managing Director and engagement teams to create guidance, templates, and deliver training to ensure proper methodology utilization. The position can be fully remote or based in any U.S. location.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the Assurance Methodology Managing Director to enhance processes and ensure quality assurance engagements.
2. Support the quality team in updating methodology guidance based on internal inspections.
3. Transform and update firm assurance methodologies.
4. Create guidance and practice aids using MS Office and other firm tools.
5. Maintain and update guidance and templates for new standards.
6. Research audit, attest, and accounting topics to inform methodology development.
7. Develop and deliver training content in collaboration with the learning and development team.
8. Assist engagement teams in resolving assurance issues using standards and firm policies.
9. Manage multiple projects involving subject matter experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• CPA designation
• 6+ years of experience in audit and attest services
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, GAGAS, SSARS
