Who Decides in New York seeks a National Political Director to lead a multistate strategy, directing a team of In-State Political Directors and building broad coalitions around AI safety for Democrats.

The role includes overseeing polling and research, coordinating with leadership, and working with Democratic 2028 presidential candidates to reflect AI safety priorities in campaigns. Residency in NYC or DC and in-office at least 4 days per week are required.

Qualificações

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in Democratic national political or advocacy work.
• Extensive team building and staff management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience plan writing.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
• Willingness to be scrappy and flexible and a good approach to flying the plane as you’re building it.
• Residence in New York City or Washington, DC area, working in-office at least 4 days per week.
