Overview

Ocean Spray is hiring for a National Accounts Manager, Target & Meijer. We are a farmer-owned co-op where everyone rolls up their sleeves to get the job done. This role is strategic and results-oriented, responsible for driving growth, building strong customer relationships, and executing joint business plans that align with both customer and company goals.

Location: This is a remote opportunity. Candidates must reside in Boston, Massachusetts or Central U.S.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Strategy & Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive customer plans for Target and Meijer, including promotional strategy, assortment planning, and new item execution.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact, building strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored, value-added solutions.
  • Execution & Measurement: Implement strategic initiatives and measure performance against key KPIs to ensure alignment and success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Sales Strategy, Marketing, Revenue Management, Supply Chain) and external brokers to ensure flawless execution and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Financial Management: Own trade budget planning, deduction management, and P&L accountability for both accounts.
  • Forecasting: Lead monthly volume forecasting and demand planning to ensure supply alignment and business accuracy.
  • Adaptability & Communication: Thrive in a fast-paced environment by being comfortable with change, navigating ambiguity, and engaging in difficult conversations with professionalism and clarity—internally and externally.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in CPG sales, with a strong preference for experience managing Target and/or Meijer accounts.
  • Proven success in customer planning, trade fund management, and sales forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
  • Experience working with brokers and cross-functional teams.
  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
