Job Title: National Accounts Lead - Channel and Buying Groups- Vaccines

Location: Remote

SANOFI VACCINES, NORTH AMERICA is seeking a highly skilled people leader with National Accounts experience in the Wholesaler/Distributor (W/D), Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), and Physician Buying Group (PBG) arenas to lead a team of Directors of National Accounts and National Account Specialists. Customers covered are national in scope and have significant influence and market impact. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, possess exceptional leadership, coaching, collaboration, and strategic planning abilities, have account management and relevant customer experience, and a track record of accountability, building innovative solutions and driving teams to successfully achieving objectives. This is a remote role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieving sales goals through your team’s execution of comprehensive B2B customer strategies as well as contract and brand strategies.
  • Coaching team towards:
    • Surfacing the voice of the customer, translating that to proposed solutions, building a business case, and bring key stakeholders along towards a common solution.
    • Establishing and maintaining a broad footprint of contacts within customers leading to co-creation of value and sustainable business relationships that contribute to Sanofi’s growth.
    • Robust business planning and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders that leads to collaborative development and execution of strategies.
    • Support and ensure the incorporation of brand strategies into the broader channel (W/D, GPO, PBG) strategies.
    • Ensuring execution of the AM and Brand team strategies.
  • Inform & activate internal teams towards building novel or enhancing existing brand, customer, or Market Access solutions to enhance Sanofi’s position in the market.
  • Serve as engaged sponsor and support your team through RFPs and contract negotiations across all product lines.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop channel strategies that bring the voice of the customer to the center.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other market appropriate events.

About You

Key Competencies:

  • Relationship Building: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including C-D suite leaders, healthcare professionals, industry influencers, and potential partners, to drive business growth.
  • Communication and Presentation: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex healthcare information to influence diverse internal and external audiences.
  • Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Being adaptable to evolving markets and customers while demonstrating ingenuity and forward-thinking capabilities that yield solutions to changing customer needs.
  • Collaboration and Sales Orchestration: Lead the team through matrix selling organization where clarity, alignment, accountability, and achievement are paramount.

Qualifications:

  • Travel up to 50% of time.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 7+ years pharmaceutical industry (vaccines preferred), W/D, GPO or Buying Group experience.
  • 7-10+ years of experience leading high caliber sales teams.
  • Experience working as individual contributor or team leader within Account Management, and channel partners/buying groups.
