Job Purpose

The National Account Manager, Non-Commercial, drives growth in strategic segments such as Healthcare, Senior Living, B&I, and Recreation by working directly with operators and large subgroups. This role involves working closely with HQ-based Senior National Account managers to engage GPO subgroups, utilizing negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to unlock new opportunities and grow existing categories.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and win business opportunities within target Non-Commercial segments, including operators like Compass Foodbuy, Sodexo Entegra, Premier, and Vizient. This is an operator specialist role; direct management of GPO partners is not required, but collaboration is essential.
  • Manage and grow existing Unilever Food Solutions Non-Commercial business within your designated portfolio, focusing on top and bottom-line growth, profit improvement, and sector-specific activities.
  • Conduct market analyses to identify customer needs, quantify opportunities, and propose financial strategies.
  • Support initiatives such as FOH brand activations and category growth within priority customer groups.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key customers in coordination with the sales team, ensuring measurable results.
  • Achieve volume targets for new business development.
Requirements to Succeed
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or related field; experience in Non-Commercial foodservice preferred.
  • 5-10 years of progressive sales or marketing experience, including large strategic account management.
  • Experience managing complex accounts, multi-stakeholder models, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and work with finance to develop profitable strategies.
  • Link industry trends to customer needs and long-term strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, financial, and time management skills.
  • Team player with willingness to travel up to 50%.

Compensation includes a pay range of $86,080 to $129,120, bonus eligibility, and LTI. Benefits cover health, retirement, insurance, parental leave, paid leave, and voluntary programs. Unilever values diversity and inclusion; all qualified applicants will be considered without discrimination.
