We're looking for a dynamic National Account Manager to join our successful Foodservice Business, created by a recent promotion! This position offers the flexibility of a home office, with a preference for candidates located in Dallas, Texas, or other major cities across the state. In this exciting role, you'll take charge of sales and service for key accounts, including convenience stores (C-Stores), top restaurant chains, and grocery delis. Your mission will be to drive growth, optimize customer relationships, and ensure profitability. If you're ready to make an impact and grow with a thriving company, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Initiates direct sales calls for assigned accounts, managing portfolios between $10 to $40 million annually.
  • Formulates and negotiates pricing and contracts, ensuring parity across customers.
  • Develops and maintains strategic account plans for each assigned account.
  • Builds customer relationships and resolves issues through frequent communication.
  • Communicates account initiatives and execution plans to field sales teams and management.
  • Supports field sales with local customer events and problem resolution.
  • Provides analytics, trade insights, and reports to support business strategies.
  • Assists in developing and training the field sales organization on contract management.
  • Manages promotional program planning, development, and effectiveness monitoring.
  • Maintains customer records and reports and contributes to new product/process development.
  • Travel 30-40% covering Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of direct industry experience) and a minimum of 7+ years’ experience in the food service industry market channels, manufacturing environments, and multiple sales and distribution systems.
  • Experience working and interpreting primary and secondary research results and financial information.
  • Budget development and management.
  • MS Office Suite.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $104,625 – $174,375 annually with eligibility for a 25% annual incentive bonus, which is based on organizational performance. The salary range represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent.

Years of Related Experience: Minimum of 7 years related experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Competent in evaluating and interpreting primary and secondary research results and financial information. Competent in understanding food service industry market channels, manufacturing environments, and multiple sales and distribution systems. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or government regulations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to develop and work within budgets.
