Job summary

Markey’s, located at the Indianapolis Headquarters, seeks a National Account Manager to oversee account management and business development for medium- to large-scale events. The role may include travel as needed and is based at our Indianapolis Headquarters.

The candidate will consult with clients via phone, online, and in person, prepare quotes, coordinate logistics with event technicians and project managers, and ensure high-quality service throughout the planning process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in audiovisual/events industry, with leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and client relations skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Discuss customers’ audiovisual needs and the purpose of the event to understand goals and objectives.
• Provide consultation and recommendations on AV solutions based on needs and budgets.
• Prepare quotes, track equipment and submit invoices.
• Coordinate with consultants, project managers and technicians for appropriate solutions.
• Plan in-person site visits and meetings for select events.
• Provide event staff with detailed logistics and contact information.
