  • Develop and manage strategies to grow market share within assigned territory
  • Lead effective negotiations by identifying options, interests, criteria, and alternatives of each party
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of customer information and sales activity within Salesforce.com
  • Collaborate with other lines of business and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) departments to meet customer needs
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and prospects through various communication methods
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience or equivalent military experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of combined experience in sales, Third-Party Logistics (3PL), LTL, project management, and/or logistics
  • Proficiency in SPIN selling or other needs-based selling models
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 years of combined experience in sales, 3PL, LTL, project management, and/or logistics
  • Ability to understand competitor strategies, products, and pricing patterns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong active listening skills to respond accurately to questions
