Job summary

Westmoreland County Community College is seeking a Coordinator/Nurse Aide and NATCEP Trainer to deliver Nurse Aide training and clinical experiences in accordance with NNAAP and PDE requirements. The trainer will lead classroom, lab, and clinical instruction at college sites and affiliated facilities in Pennsylvania.

The role requires an RN license in PA, two years of nursing experience (including long-term care), and completion or eligibility for the Teaching-The-Educator workshop.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license in PA and two years nursing experience.
• Completion of Teaching-The-Educator workshop or eligibility to attend the training prior to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Review curriculum annually and keep instructional materials current.
• Recruit Nurse Aide Candidates and select suitable students.
• Provide remedial assistance and guidance to students as needed.
• Ensure proper classroom setup and documentation per PDE guidelines.
