Looking to work outdoors, hands-on, and be part of a team that keeps freight moving across the country? Road & Rail Services is hiring a Transload Loader for our Nashville location. This job is built for someone who doesn't mind getting dirty, prefers to be outside, and takes pride in physical work.

Transload Loader

Starting Pay: $19/hour

Location: 426 Chestnut Street, Nashville, TN 37203

You'll be transferring bulk products—mostly chemicals—between railcars and tanker trucks. This isn't a desk job. You'll be climbing ladders, dragging hoses, wearing protective gear, and working with mechanical equipment like pumps and valves. It's demanding work, but it's steady, daytime hours, Monday through Friday. Occasionally, you may work weekends depending on train schedules.

We're looking for someone with a solid history of outdoor labor. If your resume shows experience in construction, landscaping, farming, oilfield, or similar hands-on work, we want to hear from you. This role involves lifting up to 60 lbs, working in full-body protective suits, and staying alert to safety protocols at all times.

We offer the gear you need, including PPE and a steel-toe boot allowance. Our benefits include medical and dental coverage, 401(k), paid holidays, and vacation time. We also believe in recognizing hard work—there's room to grow here, and your pay reflects that over time.

What You'll Do

  • Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous materials between railcars and trucks
  • Operate equipment to transfer products safely
  • Inspect setups and complete detailed logs of all transfers
  • Follow strict safety, environmental, and compliance guidelines

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to meet all company hiring standards
  • Proven background in physical, outdoor work

If you're dependable, safety-minded, and looking for a job where your hard work pays off, apply today.
