Job summary

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, LLC seeks a Refrigeration Mechanic to support the Prime NASA program at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. The successful candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test year-round HVAC systems and related components on site.

Minimum 3 years of experience with domestic and industrial HVAC units, including servicing and replacing system components. Strong emphasis on preventive maintenance and emergency response tasks is required.

Qualifications

• Maintaining, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, calibrating, validating, certifying, testing, and operating domestic and industrial year-round air conditioning and heating units.
• Removing and replacing system components
• Responding and performing required tasks related to emergency, scheduled, unscheduled, and preventive maintenance orders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, modify, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, calibrate, validate, certify, test and operate domestic and industrial year-round air conditioning and heating units.
• Remove and replace compressors, condensing units, water pumps, fans and other system components.
