Job summary

Leidos in Oklahoma City, OK seeks an Architect to design, review, and prepare drawings for NAS modernization projects. The role covers facility design, construction documentation, inspections, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities include AutoCAD drafting, project coordination, and close collaboration with FAA managers. The candidate will maintain Archibus records and contribute to facility planning and cost

Qualifications

• Requires BS degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of technical domain.
• Ability to obtain and maintain public trust suitability.

Responsibilities

• Provide AutoCAD drawing and database support including facility baseline drawings and construction documents.
• Perform construction administration including pre-bid/pre-construction meetings, RFIs, schedules, submittals, and inspections.
• Validate electronic media for compliance with MMAC CAD standards and incorporate as-built drawings into facility databases.
• Provide technical expertise to solve facility design, conduct facility surveys, and verify existing conditions.
• Ensure designs comply with current city, state & federal codes and high-performance building regulations.
• Assist with reviews and coordination of MMAC organizations in a timely manner.
• Provide drawings and specifications for the project team.
• Schedule conferences with FAA managers and stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Schedule preliminary and final inspections and provide close-out documentation.
• Maintain/update project information in Archibus.
• Prepare special drawings data and reports for internal/external use.
• Communicate with colleagues across multiple areas and assist others with technical solutions.
