Pay Range: $65,000 to $75,000

As the Restaurant Manager for Narrative, the signature dining venue at our lifestyle hotel, you will be responsible for leading daily operations and guest experience. This role focuses on elevating service standards, driving financial performance, and fostering a culture of hospitality aligned with our brand. You will oversee all front-of-house activities, ensuring operational excellence, team development, and memorable dining experiences that reflect the sophistication and local flair of Cherry Creek.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for food and beverage, strong business acumen, and a commitment to cultivating a team culture rooted in accountability, respect, and continuous improvement. This role blends operational oversight with creative execution, directly influencing the restaurant’s reputation, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Direct and coordinate all restaurant functions, including service delivery, cost control, marketing initiatives, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Lead, train, and mentor front- and back-of-house professionals to deliver elevated service and achieve performance goals.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, product quality, and standards; implement improvements as needed.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor control, and inventory management.
  • Promote offerings through strategic upselling and marketing efforts.
  • Ensure all associates embody hotel values and are knowledgeable about offerings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or restaurant management.
  • 1–2 years of leadership experience in a full-service restaurant or lifestyle hotel environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic financial reporting.

The purpose of the RESTAURANT MANAGER is to direct activities and services of Narrative according to brand standards, delivering outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage operations including guest service, product quality, cost controls, marketing, budgeting, policy enforcement, and meetings.
  • Monitor and develop team performance, providing supervision, training, evaluations, and recognition.
  • Assess product and service satisfaction trends, address issues, and improve accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol standards.
  • Implement marketing and upselling techniques to maximize revenue.
  • Maintain current knowledge of offerings, policies, and local area.
  • Recruit, interview, and train staff.
  • Monitor budgets and financial transactions.
  • Maintain inventories and keep records.
  • Develop weekly staff schedules based on occupancy forecasts, monitoring labor costs.
  • Maintain high standards of attendance, appearance, and grooming.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
