The pharmacist will supervise medication preparation and maintain controlled substances records, with on-call duties as needed. A strong attention to detail and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Florida required.
• Narcotics experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Frameworks/ECM knowledge a plus.
• Ability to perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and administration.
• Make therapeutic recommendations to physicians and staff as needed.
• Maintain customers’ database with medical history, clinical and laboratory data.
• Investigate and resolve medication-related queries.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians and healthcare team.
• Supervise preparation of medicines and maintain controlled drugs register.
• Maintain security for medications and perform on-call duties when required.
