Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. seeks a licensed Pharmacist in Florida to support narcotics management, medication review, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating orders, maintaining patient data, supervising medication prep, and upholding controlled-substance security. Schedule options include 10:30am-7:00pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Florida.
• Narcotics experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be reliable and able to multitask.
• Basic Math and computer skills.
• Frameworks/ECM knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for drug, dosage, interactions, and proper administration.
• Make recommendations for therapy changes to physicians and client facilities staff.
• Maintain customers' database with medical history and lab data.
• Investigate and resolve medication-related queries.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare team.
• Supervise the preparation of medicines.
• Maintain register of controlled drugs for stock control.
• Ensure proper security for medications.
• Perform on-call duties when required.
