Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks a licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician to support medication fulfillment and narcotics control in a busy community pharmacy.

You will maintain shelves, count narcotics, verify expirations, and assist with dispensing while upholding professional standards and CARE culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Basic Math and computer skills.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Process damaged, waste, and expired medications according to SMC procedures and established pharmacy guidelines.
• Audit pharmacy shelves to identify and remove expired medications.
• Perform daily narcotic cycle counts.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail when handling medications.
• Assist with medication fulfillment when necessary to support pharmacy workflow.
• Support pharmacy standards and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the Narcotics Pharmacist Supervisor and Pharmacist In Charge.
